The Office of Monitoring and Evaluation operates activities under the following governmental regulations; the “State Inspection Law” 6.4 provision, the "General Procedure for Internal Control of Business Entities and Institutions" Government Resolution # 311 of 2011, and the "Internal Audit Rule" Resolution No. 483 of 2015.
The office directly obeys the President of the Mongolian National University of Education and oversees the implementation of the relevant laws and regulations of the university. It reports to the administration and provides the decision. It further organizes the activities under the provisions of Articles 3.1.2-3.1.1 of this governmental regulation.
The office supports the University in the development, implementation and monitoring of the University’s Strategic Plan and its supporting strategies. It hold overall responsibility for coordinating the preparation, implementation, monitoring and assessment of the University’s Strategic Plan. It also coordinates efficiency studies and prepares productivity reports to inform operational and strategic planning efforts.
In relation to its institutional research function, the Office develops, maintains and disseminates strategic information on current undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students, peer institutions and employers. It provides timely and accurate information for planning, internal decision-making and external accountability, and supports the strategic development, analysis and evaluation of policies and plans for the University.
