Honorary Professor and Honorary Doctor

3.1  Requirements of awarding title of Honorary Professor of the MNUE:

3.1.1   The title of Honorary Professor of the Mongolian National University of Education is awarded by the Academic Council of the MNUE to the person who has worked hard for many years in the academic and educational institutions and has contributed substantially to develop Mongolian education, culture and science

3.1.2  The title of Honorary Professor of the Mongolian National University of Education is awarded by the Academic Council of the MNUE to foreign citizen who has truly contributed for the development of Mongolian education, culture and science 

3.2 Requirements of awarding title of Honorary Professor of sub-schools of the MNUE:

3.2.1   The title of Honorary professor of the sub –school of the MNUE is awarded to staff of local and foreign educational organizations cooperating in the field of training, scientific works, teachers and professors of the high institutions and universities by the decision of the Training and Research Council Meeting

3.2.2  Number and registration of the awarding the title of sub-school Honorary Professor  is responsible by the Office of the Deputy Director of the Research and Cooperation

3.3 Requirement of awarding title of Honorary Doctor of the MNUE:   

3.3.1   The title of Honorary Doctor of the MNUE would be awarded to teachers, research workers, scientific researchers, and respected person of the cooperating institutions and organizations on training and research work who has contributed truly to develop Science, Society and MNUE by the decision of Academic Council of the University. 

FOURNomination and candidate documents

4.1 Nominate candidates and colleagues from reputable academic organizations due to diligence and fulfillment of the criteria of academic and honors. The lead candidates will provide the following documents. These include:

4.1.1   Characteristics of the candidate by organizations, departments and colleagues

- Characteristics should be included the following facts and signed by head of department and director of the school.

· Position of the candidate, duration of work on this position, when and where defended the doctor’s degree, worked years, number of publications to the professional journals, from them number of publications last 3 years.

·Note briefly 2-3 significant publications

• How engaged in training and research priorities and work-related issues, teaching skills, professional community activities (magazine/ journal editorial board, anti-corruption board, association member, school member and etc.) and source for candidate nominates

4.1.2   Brief biography of the candidate /Application form №1/

4.1.3   For Honored Professor candidates: consulted doctors name list, dissertation titles, the place and date of the defending and the list certified by the head of the professional department. In the case of the candidate in the undergraduate degree, the name of the master’s work, the title and degree of the diploma work, the place and the year of the candidate’s name..

 4.1.4   Publication list. (Should be done by the following table). The list should be sorted in two parts: scientific research work and training, methodology work. The proof of the list will be confirmed and head of department will sign it

 4.1.5   Honorary professor, professor candidates should have doctor’s diploma and associate professor’s certificate, candidates for the associate professor should have copy of doctor’s diploma.

4.1.6   Copies of the social insurance book for the period of employment specified in subparagraphs 2.1.3, 2.2.1 of this procedure, copies of cooperation or half time work.

4.2 Candidates to scientific degree should fulfill the requirement condition in 100%
