Conversion training

General provision of conversion training

  1. To enroll in the conversion program for teacher education
  2. To convert from other professions to teacher

Requirements for the applicants:

  • To have a bachelor’s degree in the profession /For example: To become a physics teacher from physicist; to become a mathematics teacher from mathematician/
  • Specialty courses that are transferred should be more than 50 percent compared to the all specialty courses.
  • GPA of specialty courses that are transferred should be no less than 2.5.

       To consider credit:

  • It is allowed to consider credits for general foundation courses, professional foundation courses and specialty courses.
  • If student is working as a teacher in the secondary school no less than 3 years, it is allowed to consider the following courses such as Introduction to the teaching profession, Methodology of the profession-1, and Methodology of the profession-2 by examination. In addition, it is allowed to consider Orientation practicum, Study practicum-1 and Study practicum-2.  

Designated schools:

  • The relevant school organizes entrance registration and graduation.
  • School of Educational Studies organizes teacher education courses.
  1. To convert from teacher to teacher / For example: To become an English teacher from mathematics teacher/

Requirements for the students:

  • To have a bachelor’s degree diploma
  • GPA of specialty courses that are transferred should be no less than 2.5.    

 To consider credit:

  • The courses of bachelor’s degree diploma can be corresponded to the courses of conversion program.
  • It is allowed to consider credits for general foundation courses and professional foundation courses by examination. Students study professional foundation courses, specialty courses and methodology courses of the profession.

  • The relevant school organizes entrance registration and graduation.
