Entrance registration for the doctoral programs  

Requirements for the students:

  • If a student’s GPA of master’s diploma is more than 3.3, it is acceptable to doctoral training..
  • The specialty area of the profession for the doctoral program should be the same to the master’s program.

Documents needed for registration:

  • Civil service employment application form
  • Copy of master’s and bachelor’s diploma /Notarized copy/
  • Bill of registration fee
  • 2 copies of photo 3*4

Instructions/warnings:

  • Your registration will be proved by choosing study program and attaching documents needed.
  • If you registered before, you would notify to the Office of Academic Programs. By doing this, your registration will be proved. /Phone: 70120017/
  • In order to register, you should fill correctly in an application form in the registration system and attach the following documents.

GRADUATE STUDY of DOCTORAL PROGRAMS

Doctoral course plan

Curriculum framework of doctoral course includes 60 credits with the following structures:

Professional foundation course - 12 credit hours

Specialty courses – 18 credit hours

Research work/dissertation - 30 credit hours

Foundation courses (Professional foundations)

Research Methodology contains Research methods, formulation of experimental works, search of information, organization of information, online programming processing, calculation, monograph, studies on research articles, presenting papers and writing research papers and so on. Professional compulsory courses should be suited to the standard of researchers’ acquired knowledge in certain science fields.

Specialty courses

Specialty courses provide contents determined knowledge level standard for researchers. Under the guideline of research supervisor, students can do self studies, present some parts of course content in professional seminars, write course work dividing research work into chapters, do case studies, receive credits by taking exams.

Student can choose up to 6 credits from elective courses, which can be involved in specialty course credits.

Research work

Research and theoretical seminar should be organized under the research advisor and it should be 18 credits for doctoral students.

Doctoral dissertation is 12 credits.

Doctoral dissertation should be accepted with the sufficient grades of seminars and it takes 12 credits.

 Recommendation

  • Academic courses and study programs should be chosen.
  • Doctoral student should pay tuition fee of academic courses which are chosen.
  • Branch school designs a suggestion sheet of research topics and research advisors within the semester when the students enrolled based on the suggestions made by departments, professors’ team and students. The suggestion sheet is approved by university director.
  • Doctoral student takes English test after completion of 20 credits.
  • When the student finish the terms, there is a right to defense doctoral dissertation.
  • Validity of doctoral credits are legitimate for 6 semesters after completion of the courses and students have a right to defense their doctoral dissertation within the period.
  • Based on the requirements: completion of all courses, foreign language test and full tuition fee of academic years, no more than 2 pre-discussions of the doctoral dissertation are organized as seminars at relevant professional departments (professors’ team).
  • Doctoral student who did not attend to the courses and did not do research work, did not pay tuition fee is dropped out.
  • Doctoral students who achieved more than 3 GPA can get assistantship to work as a teaching assistant and a worker under the school, department and professors’ team.
